“Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr.Thompson” will be showing tonight at the Boulder Theater- tickets are 8.50 a piece-and the doors open at 7:30. Go! Go! GO!

Theodore, Oh Theodore-

Due to popular demand: Mr. Theodore Geisel, the well known Dr.Seuss, author of the whimsical will be the feature of our next reading… The following week: Dylan Thomas…. and Following that- a local poet who is currently unknown- but we will release that information when we know it. Ladies and Gents of the Poetic Council- Do bring your Butter Battles, Cats in Hats and Hop On Pops to the next reading for a whimsical evening of our relived childhoods…..and of course, your own poetry-guitars, harmonicas, sitars, and selves.

Hey Folks! We’re currently working on the next few weeks’ features- making the calender, etc- if any of you local or traveling poets would like to feature, please email anuntitledpiece@gmail.com and let it be known. We’re currently trying to fill up slots the fastest we can.

After All We Only Ever Listened To The Refrigerator Hum…the first published book of poetry by Emily Owens came out this past Wednesday, copies will be available at the readings for $5 if you’d like one.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Hello.

This weeks reading will be without a particular feature, and the summer calender for upcoming features is currently being worked on.

We hope to see all of you there on Tuesday for another warming outdoor poetry event, the birds have been just lovely in their participation.

For any of you who missed tonight’s reading; shame. Just shame. Tonights Feature was Micheal Jones who did a stunning job with his recounts of humanity and vocal pacings that could not ever, never, be imitated. We also were quite happy to be visited by Beat Poet, Anne Waldman and her friend.

Tonight- June 3rd

Special Guest Emma Gomis will be playing at the reading tonight. She’s in town for a short time from Portland, Oregon and has talent which soars far beyond the average the eighteen year old musician/poet.

NEWS: After All We Only Listened To The Refrigerator Hum…, the first book of published poetry by Emily Owens will be having its release party on Wednesday, June 25th at the Burnt Toast, beginning at eight p.m. - special guests will soon be announced.

NEXT WEEK: Micheal Jones, Local Poet will be featuring at An Untitled Piece Open Poetry and Acoustics- June 10th- 7:30 pm- Mark it on your calenders folks, you don’t want to miss this!

Next Weeks Featured Poet is Emily Owens, local poet and host of An Untitled Piece Poetry- in light of her June-to-be-published book of poems- who will be published by none other than Baobob Tree Press- she’ll be reading some of the poems from the upcoming “After All We Only Ever Listened to The Refrigerator Hum” as well some new poems.
